The hands-on Little Birder Kit is created to help our young friends (ages 3+) grow into confident bird explorers.
With the Little Birder Guide—an emerging-reader tool filled with clear visuals and simple symbols—children begin recognizing eight common Texas birds they’re likely to see in their everyday environment, from Grackles at H-E-B to Cardinals in the front yard. The guide nurtures early literacy, sparks observational skills, and encourages scientific thinking, all while inspiring curiosity about the world just outside their door. Did we mention it’s pocket-sized?
When they’re ready to explore, children can take their new knowledge outside with child-friendly, adjustable binoculars designed for little hands and curious eyes. Careful, you might want some, too.
